Rain Cancellation/Delay Notification Process
In the event of rain on Sundays, we will follow the process below:
- We will notify the league of any rainouts in this order:
- Twitter -- https://twitter.com/SilverSluggers
- Announcements Page
- Email Notification to specific teams/players
- We will try to update Twitter and this page on the website with any rainouts/delays as soon as possible in the morning by 7:30am.
- In the event of rain during games (or after the teams arrive at the field) , the umpires/coaches or field maintenance team will make the final decision on field conditions.

Rescheduling of Games
- If a full double header is rained out, we will reschedule on our rain date (October 13)
- If game 1 is played, and game 2 is rained out, we will not make up those games.
- If a game is rained out before the 5th inning of game 1, we will make up at least 1 game and possibly both games if our field schedule allows.

Check Game Schedule Every Week
Please check the schedule for your games prior to going to the games every week. We will not change the games and locations often. Just in case you missed an email or notification, the online schedule will be the latest version of the schedule for your team.
