Silver Sluggers Teams

Silver Sluggers Philosophy

Silver Sluggers Baseball and Sluggers Softball in Madison, WI prepares players for success. Our core team values of consistent work ethic, teamwork, mental toughness, and respect transcend the baseball field. Our message to players is they will create their own opportunities through hard work and persistence, developing their skills on the field and off. The experienced Silver Sluggers staff will guide players through this process. Our mission is to teach players to prepare for the next step in their career, whether it is high school or college.   At Silver Sluggers, winning is a by-product of preparing the right way through work ethic that can improve skills and confidence on the field.

Our philosophy is focused on developing successful people rather than winning games at all costs.  We know that every successful athlete comes from a foundation of work ethic, attention to detail, and seeing challenges as opportunities rather than inconveniences.

Our teams train together throughout the winter, and travel to tournaments through Wisconsin and surrounding states.

We strive to challenge our players to:

  • Pay attention to the details of the game

  • Create a superior work ethic

  • Become a great teammate

  • React positively to adversity

  • Be a student of the game

“Our program is focused on developing each player’s skills on the field, teaching the correlation between work ethic, attention to detail, and success.  We want our players to learn how the training, competition and adversity presented to us in the game of baseball or softball can prepare them for success off the field as well.”

Brad Woodall – Former Major League Player, Director of Player Development
